When choosing hair and body products, stick as close to organic and natural as humanly possible. Instead of alcohol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, use coconut oil base in your choice of shampoos; instead of fragrance, choose essential oils as a natural fragrance in your products; instead of mineral oil and petroleum, choose lanolin, castor oil, & olive oil in your conditioners and gels; if you must have color in your products, choose tumeric, beets, and fruit/vegetables; instead of using triclosan, DEA, DMHM, glycols, etc, use aloe vera and oils to cleanse, moisturize, and style your hair.
