Instead of using your usual conditioner, try conditioning your hair with mayonnaise. Make sure you wash it out well. Mayonnaise helps to lock in the moisture along with the natural oils. No wonder it adds shine to your hair!
You can also try making a shampoo using baking soda. Dilute a cup of baking soda with water to make a soft, slightly runny paste. Wet your hair and massage this mixture into the scalp. Rinse the baking soda out thoroughly. Your hair becomes squeaky clean and regains its shine.
