No hair on scalp is the worst nightmare anyone can get, its scary because it makes you look really different, your thoughts about losing your identity are unimaginable and shocking. Traditionally hair was never really fretted upon as much as we do now. Hair was just a part of the body and was treated at par.

Older generation still has those traces of a healthy hair on their heads whereas the younger ones are losing out on this pleasure. Hair requires to be treated differently than rest of the body, firstly because hair is delicate and can be damaged easily and secondly, this is the place more likely to catch dust and grime than anywhere else.

Try to go natural, chemical shampoos and soaps are highly likely to damage your hair than anything else;

Hair should be trimmed every six months, this way you can get rid of split ends if any, and you can minimize hair breakage;

Minimize the use of hair irons, hair clips, hot hair rollers, etc., you will damage hair and its texture, you will find immediate change in the feel, hair becomes dryer and stiff.

Try and use rejuvenating and highly nutritious hair oils like the coconut, this is being used in Asia since ages, no wonder people have thicker hair and it lasts long, also try certain alternatives like the homeopathy and ayurvedic oils which are designed to repair hair damage and minimize any future damage.

Massage hair with these oils, these will relax your nerves, eyes and body, as well as ensure well nourished hair;

Ensure all hair products used are mild and soft, and not detergent based; detergent based body products are most likely to be harsh.

Do not panic if you find you are losing hair, make a checklist of what you use for your hair and accordingly stop any hair treatment that you think is harsh.
