So what do you think is the right way to wash your hair, most of us believes that we have got this down? I mean how could it be possible to get something like this wrong. However washing the shampoo out of your hair the wrong way can contribute to dandruff and actually damage the without actually knowing it.

So what should we remember about your hair. Hair has individual stands, no matter how thick or strong it looks it is actually very delicate. So if you just pull or tug the hair it will break and become damaged and the last thing you would want is to do that and hair dull un-manageable hair.

So by now I am sure you are asking the question what is the correct way of washing your hair? Well the first thing you should do is to comb the tangles out of the hair, even before you wet it. This is so that the tangles will not get worse. Then wet your hair under the shower, you can either use warm or cold water, but if you want to maximise the results then you should use warm water as it opens the scale like cuticles of the hair and wash all the oil and dirt off. Then it is possible to rinse the hair off with cold water to help close the cuticles to add some shine to your hair.

Rinse your hair under the shower to get rid of the leave on conditioner you have used previously in your hair care regime by using soft strokes of your fingertips. Then pour a 50p piece amount of shampoo in to the palm of your hand and gently rub your hands together. Then apply the shampoo to your scalp but take note that you should put the shampoo on your scalp and not at the ends of your hair as the shampoo would dry your hair's ends and cause it to weaken and split and this is something you don't want to happen. Also you must not mix your hair all over your head as you shampoo because it will increase the amount of tangles and make it worst. After this, rinse the shampoo off.

More often than not we need to shampoo our hair for a second time. You might be asking what the purpose of the first is and second shampoo is? Well the first is to clean the oil and dirt off and the second shampoo is supposed to let the shampoo treat our hair.

Now to get the excess water off your hair is to squeeze the water out, do not pull or tug the hair due to the fact that the hair is the most delicate when it has been soaked. Now with the excess water out, apply the conditioner along the hairline and to the nape and ends of the hair. Then by putting your hair inside a shower cap will allow the conditioner to absorb. After about ten minutes completely rinse off the conditioner.

I understand that the process described sounds like alot of effort and very time consuming, but remember if you want great looking hair then it is worth it.
